U.K. Chemical Sector Warned On Water Use

Chemicals firms in the U.K. may experience water shortages if they continue with current consumption levels, according to a report by U.K. government environmental advisory body for business Envirowise. The “chemicals sector needs to act now to avoid [a] water crisis,” Envirowise says. The group predicts that chemical companies in England and Wales could readily avoid such shortages and save significant amounts of money by reducing the amount of water they waste.
