ACC today released its global chemical regional production index (CPRI), showing a 0.1% rise on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis in July—indicating that growth remained tepid at the start of the second half. Production increased in North America, Africa, the Mideast, and Asia/Pacific, ACC says. Chemical production contracted in Latin America and Europe. The global CPRI was up 3.2% YOY on a 3MMA basis.
