ACC today released its US Chemical Production Regional Index (CPRI), showing a 0.6% gain in April—with all seven regions showing increased manufacturing. The CPRI grew 0.2% over March. ACC says manufacturing production unexpectedly slipped during April, however on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis, the nation’s overall manufacturing output was up.
