ACC has released its monthly US Chemical Production Regional Index, indicating a 0.3% rise in January, following a 0.6% gain in December 2013. ACC says production continued to move higher in all seven regions of the United States during January. On a three-month moving average basis, manufacturing sector output was flat in January because of winter weather disrupting activity in a number of industries, ACC says.
