ACC today released its monthly chemical activity barometer (CAB), showing moderate growth over July. Measured on a three-month moving average basis, the CAB increased 0.2% over July, a deceleration from the 0.4% gain in July. Though the pace of growth has slowed, current gains have the CAB up a solid 4.3% year-on-year (YOY), and the barometer remains at its highest level since January 2008, ACC says.
