Sustainability :: Green Innovation of the Month Nanotech Concrete Paves Way for Greener Future8:46 AM MDT | July 21, 2010 | Laura Templer The Tecnalia Construction Unit (TCU: Madrid), says it has developed a process for manufacturing cement that, when compared with standard cement, cuts CO2 emissions to the atmosphere by 100%. Instead of using the conventional route for making concrete, which involves burning limestone, Tecnalia uses solid waste from thermal power stations combined with an undisclosed nanomaterial.
