Lanxess’s fine and specialty chemicals business unit Saltigo says it has recently introduced an undisclosed number of high-efficiency catalyst-based reaction technologies for the commercial production of agrochemical intermediates and active ingredients at lower environmental and financial cost. The technologies are based on catalytic C-C, C-CN, and C-O couplings. The catalytic coupling reactions may be readily and effectively applied to the most complex chemical compounds.
