Carbon Capture: Air Products Tests Technology in German Pilot Facility

Air Products has disclosed that in the past few days it has brought on stream a proprietary carbon dioxide (CO2) capture, purification and compression system at energy firm Vattenfall’s (Stockholm) carbon capture and storage (CCS) pilot facility at Schwarze Pumpe, Germany. Air Products says its technology will perform a key role in the project with Vattenfall to demonstrate an oxyfuel process for carbon capture.
