Sustainability :: Biofuels & Raw Materials KBR Awarded Contract for DuPont’s Cellulosic Ethanol Plant7:50 AM MDT | July 11, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh KBR says it has been awarded a contract by DuPont for engineering and procurement services for DuPont’s previously announced cellulosic ethanol plant at Nevada, IA. KBR will provide front-end engineering, detailed engineering, and procurement services for the plant. The ethanol facility will be designed to process 1,300 m.t./day of corn stover and produce 27.5 million gallons of ethanol/year. The cellulosic ethanol will be used as a blending component in gasoline by fuel manufacturers and will enable them to meet U.S. EPA-mandated requirements... Already an IHS Chemical Week member?
