SGL to Supply HCl Recovery System to Chinese Firm

SGL Group (Wiesbaden, Germany) says it has signed a contract with Qinghai Salt Lake Industry (Golmud, China) to supply a recovery system that enables the recycling and reuse of hydrochloric acid (HCl). The contract is worth more than €20 million ($25.1 million). SGL expects to deliver the system to Qinghai Salt Lake by the end of 2013. The project will enable Qinghai Salt Lake to recycle and reuse HCl that is accumulated in liquid form at various steps of the company's magnesium smelting and chemical manufacturing processes at Golmud, near to Chaerhan Salt...
