Sustainability Reverdia opens world's first large-scale plant for biobased succinic acid in Italy7:35 AM MST | December 13, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Reverdia (Delft, Netherlands), a joint venture between DSM and Roquette (Lestrem, France), says it has begun production of biobased succinic acid at its newly built commercial-scale plant at Roquette's site at Cassano Spinola, Italy. The plant is the world's first dedicated large-scale facility for the production of succinic acid from renewable resources, with a production capacity of about 10,000 m.t./year, Reverdia says.
