LyondellBasell Awarded DOE Grant for Energy-Efficient Ethylene Production Technology

LyondellBasell was awarded a $4.5-million grant to develop catalyst-assisted technology to improve the energy efficiency of ethylene production from ethane while emitting less greenhouse gases (GHG). The grant was provided by the Department of Energy (DOE) as a part of a 13-project, $54-million energy efficiency and cost-reduction initiative.
