Sustainability Lanxess Invests in Rubber Production Plant in France, Pigments Facility in Germany8:06 AM MDT | September 18, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Lanxess says it is investing to enhance productivity and energy efficiency at the company's high-performance rubber facility at La Wantzenau, France. The total amount of the investment is expected to be at least €40 million ($52.21 million) by 2020, the company says. Lanxess's plant at La Wantzenau, which is the largest of its type in the world, produces nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with an annual capacity of more than 100,000 m.t., the company says.
