Ineos begins waste-to-ethanol production at Florida plant

Ineos says its has started commercial-scale production of cellulosic ethanol at its Indian River BioEnergy center joint venture at Vero Beach, FL. The first ethanol shipments from the plant, the first US facility to produce cellulosic ethanol at commercial scale, will be made in August.

Why can not all Florida Sugar Mills burn their baggasse to produce electricity ?
It could be a welcome new green source for the state
