Senior executives in the global chemical industry have met their counterparts from seven state-owned companies in China for the first time in a forum addressing climate change and the sound management of chemicals. The objective of the forum, jointly sponsored by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) and the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), is to develop cooperation between leading players in the chemical industry around the world.
