This Week on CW:   Cabot has agreed to buy Norit, a Dutch activated carbon maker, for $1.1 billion. Norit, which is owned by private equity firms Doughty Hanson and Euroland Investments, had revenues of $360 million 2011.   Clariant says it is planning to divest its paper, textile and emulsions and detergents units within the next 18 months. The three units together compose nearly 20% of Clariant’s sales.   Monsanto is suing DuPont over seed development technology, in the latest of a series of lawsuits among the leading genetically modified...
