Buckman Wins Presidential Green Chemistry Award for Paper Production Enzymes

Buckman (Memphis, TN) has been presented with the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge award from the EPA for its “maximyze” enzymes. The enzymes, comprised of natural catalysts and consisting of new enzymes and combinations of enzymes, allows for more sustainable production of paper and paperboard while reducing energy and decreasing the amount of wood fiber needed for manufacturing.
