BASF Invests $5 Million in China Environment Fund

BASF says its BASF Venture Capital subsidiary has invested $5 million in the China Environment Fund (CEF) IV. CEF, a fund focused on clean technology and managed by Tsing Capital (Beijing), is a series of four funds, and it invests in companies which develop sustainable technologies within the cleantech sector in China, BASF says. “China has a large number of highly innovative and sustainable technology companies of great strategic importance for BASF. Our participation in CEF IV enables us to set up joint activities with these companies in China,”...
