Sustainability Amyris Signs Joint Development Deal With Method Products7:32 AM MDT | November 1, 2011 | Rebecca Coons Synthetic biology firm Amyris (Emeryville, CA) says it has signed a deal with Method Products, a provider of environmentally-friendly home and personal care products to big box retailers like Target and Lowe’s, to jointly develop renewable ingredients from Amyris’ biobased farnesene. Under the terms of the deal, Amyris and Method will evaluate and develop multiple ingredients, including surfactants and solvents.
