Senate Republican Sponsor Withdraws Support for U.S. Energy Legislation

Senator Lindsey Graham (R., SC) this weekend withdrew support for the bi-partisan energy and climate bill that had been scheduled for introduction April 26. Graham's decision was in response to  concerns about reports that Democrats planned to advance immigration legislation before taking up the energy and climate bill, according to a letter Graham sent other Senate lawmakers.
