Ineos inaugurates ethylene import terminal in Belgium

Ineos Oxide, an Ineos subsidiary, says that its deepsea ethylene import terminal at the company's manufacturing site at Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp, is fully operational. The terminal has capacity to handle 1 million m.t./year of ethylene. "This is a major step for Ineos, which will secure the long-term viability of its business located at the Antwerp site and connected alongside Western Europe's ARG ethylene pipeline," says Hans Casier, CEO of Ineos Oxide. Ineos says it has traditionally bought ethylene from other companies operating steam crackers...
