Services :: Transportation DuPont Settles Rail Rate Case Against CSX11:10 AM MDT | May 22, 2009 | Esther D'Amico DuPont’s complaint filed last November regarding CSX’s rates for 99 movements of 38 commodity chemicals has been settled and the case dismissed at DuPont’s request, says the Surface Transportation Board (STB; Washington). However, parts of DuPont’s other, smaller rate complaints against the railroad are still pending, sources say. “We are pleased that we could reach a compromise that benefited both sides in this [November 2008] case,” DuPont says in a statement.
