Services :: Transportation Chemicals sector rail traffic rises 1.1%11:23 AM MST | December 7, 2012 | Vincent Valk Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 1.1% year-on-year (YOY), to 43,891 cars, during the week ended 1 December, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). US traffic was up 2.3%, to 31,733 cars. Canadian traffic fell 3.1%, to 10,747 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 9.5%, to 1,411 cars.
