Services :: Transportation BNSF to Offer Tariff Incentives Next Year for New Rail Tank Cars11:32 AM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff BNSF says it will offer tariff incentives to hazardous material shippers that use the “most improved and strongest tank cars available,” effective January 1, 2008. The incentives will apply to shippers using tank cars approved by the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington) for carrying toxic by inhalation and poison inhalation (TIH/PIH) hazmats, including anhydrous ammonia and chlorine, BNSF says.
