Services :: Storage Firefighters Extinguish Chemical Blaze in the Netherlands6:47 AM MST | January 6, 2011 | Ian Young Firefighters have extinguished a massive blaze at a chemical storage and packaging plant at Moerdijk, the Netherlands. The fire broke out yesterday afternoon at the plant of Chemie-Pack (Roosendaal, the Netherlands), sending clouds of smoke into the air. Officials told local residents to stay indoors with their windows closed. No casualties were reported. An investigation has been launched into the causes of the fire.
