Brenntag JV Acquires Assets in South Africa

Crest Chemicals (Midrand, South Africa), a chemical distribution joint venture between Brenntag and AECI (Johannesburg), has acquired certain assets of WK Croxton (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa), an importer of caustic soda into South Africa. Crest Chemicals has also acquired a 64% stake in Protank, which operates bulk liquid storage facilities in the port of Durban, South Africa. The combined value of the deals is about €12 million.
