APPC Signs Logistics Deal with Katoen Natie Khonaini

Advanced Polypropylene Co. (APPC; Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia) says it has signed a contract with Katoen Natie Khonaini (Al Jubail) covering packaging, maintenance, and container handling at APPC’s polypropylene (PP) manufacturing complex at Al Jubail. APPC is in the process of commissioning a 455,000-m.t./year propane dehydrogenation plant and a 450,000-m.t./year PP unit at the site and has appointed Vinmar International (Houston), Mitsubishi Corp., and Domo (Gent-Zwijnaarde, Belgium) to offtake the entire PP output from the complex.
