Stolt-Nielsen reports improved results following pick-up at Stolt Tankers

Stolt-Nielsen today reported unaudited results for the fourth quarter, ended 30 November 2013. Net profit nearly doubled, to $36.6 million from $18.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2012. Revenues were up 3%, to $524.5 million, and operating profit was 31%, up to $59.8 million. Stolt Tankers reports an operating profit of $15.8 million, up from $9 million in the third quarter, as market conditions firmed for the third consecutive quarter.
