Shipping Markets Set to Tighten

Hans Feringa, president of Stolt Tankers, a Stolt-Nielsen subsidiary, expects to see a turnaround in the parcel tanker segment of the chemical shipping market, driven by a looming shortage in supply of sophisticated tankers: “You are going to see a tightening of supply in the stainless steel, high segregation segment and it may happen quite fast, perhaps in the second half of next year, “ Feringa told Chemical Week on the sidelines of EPCA's  44th Annual Meeting in Budapest....
