Services :: Shipping Rail Traffic Up 14.8% Last Week2:04 PM MST | February 11, 2010 | Vincent Valk Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 14.8% year-on-year, to 43,014 cars, during the week ended February 6, the Association of American Railroads (AAR) reports. U.S. traffic rose 13.5%, to 27,693 cars. Canadian traffic was up 17.1%, to 14,266 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 18.5%, to 1,055 cars. Traffic declined sequentially from the prior week's totals.
