Services :: Shipping Rail Traffic Rise Continues1:53 PM MST | January 21, 2010 | Vincent Valk Chemical sector rail traffic in North America rose again last week, by 14.2% to 43,089 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR). U.S. traffic was up 13%, to 27,405 cars. Canadian traffic rose 18.4%, to 14,660 cars, while Mexican traffic fell 5.3% to 1,024 cars. Traffic on the continent as a whole and in the U.S. fell in comparison to the prior week's totals.
