Producers Cut Chemicals Output Due to Rhine Shipping Disruption

Shipping remains disrupted on the Rhine in Germany after a barge sank last week, and the accident continues to affect chemical production at sites along the river. Rhodia announced today that it would maintain an earlier force majeure declaration on nylon intermediates from the company's Chalampé, France site.
