Port of Antwerp strengthens ties with Brazil

 The port of Antwerp intends to strengthen ties with Brazil. Apec-Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center, a subsidiary of the Antwerp port authority, has signed a declaration of intent with Grupo Bertin (São Paulo), the port says. The agreement is aimed at strengthening collaboration with the Brazilian private maritime sector. Antwerp is the leading container port in northwestern Europe, with a market share of 45%, the authority says.
