(JPMC; Amman) has invited submissions of interest for a contract to operate and maintain the company's new phosphate rock export terminal in the port of Aqaba, Jordan. JPMC is due to complete construction of the terminal soon and the facility will have the capacity to handle 4 million m.t./year of phosphate rock. Potential operators may apply to prequalify for inclusion in a shortlist of bidders for the contract by a deadline of 10 October 2012.
