Services :: Shipping Chemicals sector rail traffic rises 0.2%10:48 AM MST | November 30, 2012 | Vincent Valk Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 0.2% year-on-year (YOY) during the week ended 24 November, to 36,152 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). US traffic was up 3.2%, to 25,243 cars. Canadian traffic fell 8.1%, to 9,662 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 15.1%, to 1,247 cars.
