Chemicals Sector Rail Traffic Falls 3.5%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America fell 3.5% for the week ended December 3, to 43,248 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). U.S. traffic was down 3.8%, to 30,973 cars. Canadian traffic fell 5.5%, to 11,112 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 36%, to 1,163 cars.
