Chemicals Sector Rail Traffic Falls 0.8%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America fell 0.8% year-on-year during the week ended June 9, to 42,075 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). U.S. traffic was down 1.2%, to 29,308 cars. Canadian traffic rose 4.4%, to 11,557 cars, while Mexican traffic was up 17.8%, to 1,210 cars.
