Services :: Legal Senators Introduce Bills to Block EPA Climate Rules11:11 AM MST | February 1, 2011 | Vincent Valk U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-W) and John Barrasso (R-WY) have respectively introduced two separate bills aiming at blocking EPA's climate regulatory actions. Rockefeller has re-introduced a bill seeking to delay EPA's greenhouse gas (GHG) rules for two years. The bill, which was first put forth in March of last year, currently has six centrist Democratic co-sponsors. Meanwhile, Senator Barrasso has introduced a separate bill seeking to permanently ban EPA, other federal agencies, and states from regulating GHG emissions absent direct Congressional action. The...
