Services :: Legal EPA to Delay Boiler Rule Implementation2:07 PM MDT | May 17, 2011 | Vincent Valk U.S. EPA is planning to delay the implementation of new air emissions rules for industrial boilers as it considers additional public comments on the rule, the agency says. Revised Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) standard for boilers were issued on a court-imposed deadline in February. Those revisions resulted in substantial changes from the initial proposal, resulting in a new public comment period for the revised standards. The public comment period will end on July 15.
