Services :: Legal Activists Sue Cleaning Products Firms Over Ingredient Disclosure12:56 AM MST | February 19, 2009 | Kara Sissell Environmental group Earthjustice (Washington) says it has filed a lawsuit against Church and Dwight, Colgate-Palmolive, Proctor & Gamble, and Reckitt-Benckiser charging them with inadequate disclosure of product ingredients. The lawsuit alleges that the companies have failed to comply with New York state laws requiring reports on certain product ingredients be periodically submitted to the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC; Albany).
