The deal is pending regulatory and Business Objects’ shareholder approval, and is expected to close in first-quarter 2008. The transaction is not expected to result in “significant” restructuring, and it is expected to be accretive to SAP’s EPS on a U.S. GAAP basis starting in 2009, SAP says.
