Lummus Signs MTO Licensing Deal

Lummus Technology has signed an agreement with Shaanxi Xin Xing Coal Chemical Science & Technology Development (SYN; Dalian, China) to license SYN’s methanol-to-olefins (MTO) technology worldwide. The newly developed technology can help producers to expand capacity-restricted olefin plants, Lummus’s parent CB&I says.
