Services :: Financial Moody's Raises DuPont Credit Outlook10:37 AM MST | November 24, 2010 | Vincent Valk Moody's Investors Service (New York) has raised the credit outlook for DuPont to 'stable' from 'negative.' The move decreases the likelihood of a downgrade in DuPont's 'A2' investment-grade credit rating. Moody's believes that DuPont's credit metrics, such as net debt-to-EBITDA ratio, current about 2.3x, will improve through 2011 and 2012. Strength in the agricultural end market, a weak U.S. dollar, and cost structure improvements, justify the upgrade in outlook, Moody's says.
