Innospec acquires oilfield chemicals firm

Innospec announced today it has acquired oilfield chemicals firm Bachman Services (Oklahoma City, OK) for an undisclosed sum. Bachman has annual revenues of about $80 million, Innospec says. The company will become part of Innospec’s oilfield specialties segment, along with Strata Control, which was acquired in January. “Since our low key entry into the oilfield chemicals market, we have been running a dual growth strategy — growing sales organically using our existing technologies, and seeking to make targeted acquisitions,” says Innospec...
