CW75 Stock Performance

Record-setting gains in the overall stock market helped raise the CW75 by 1.3% for the week ending April 25. Positive data about U.S. durable goods orders helped lift stock prices, analysts say. March durable goods orders rose 3.4%, according to a Commerce Department report. Economists had estimated that orders would rise 2.5%-2.7%, media reports say. Stocks rose for multinational chemical producers because of healthy demand outside the U.S., analysts say. Basic and specialty chemical shares each rose 1.4%, and diversified chemical stocks increased 1.3%...
