Bayer Raises Margin Forecasts Due to Strong Health Care Business...

Wenning: Health care is a growth engine. Bayer HealthCare (BHC) has raised its Ebitda margin forecast for 2007 from 24%, to 25%, and increased its Ebitda margin forecast for 2009 from 27%, to 28%. The company cites a quicker-than-expected integration of the former operations of Schering, which Bayer acquired last year; adoption of a new research strategy; and optimization of BHC’s pharmaceuticals pipeline.
