ACC's economic outlook for the week ended 2 November 2012

MACROECONOMIC STATUS Our running tab of positive indicators slipped by 2, to 13 out of 20 this week. Thus, we continue to post a green banner. Non-Farm Payrolls up 171,000 Unemployment Rate up 0.1 points, to 7.9% Consumer Confidence up 3.8 points, to 72.2 (highest in a year) Personal Income up 0.4%; up 3.9% year-on-year (YOY) Consumer Spending up 0.8%; up 3.8% YOY Construction Spending up 0.6%; up 7.8% YOY Light Vehicle Sales down to 14.3 million-unit pace Factory Orders up 4.8%; up 0.3% YOY ISM Mfg.
