Mosaic share repurchases to wait until November

Mosaic’s repurchasing of Class A shares, held by trusts associated with the Cargill family, cannot commence until 26 November at the earliest, the company says. Mosaic’s attempts to get the trusts to rewrite the agreement under which the company was spun off from Cargill to allow for buybacks prior to that date were rejected by the trusts, the company adds. Mosaic was spun off from Cargill in 2011.
