Services :: Engineering & Construction Uhde Inventa-Fischer Bags Contract for Russian PET Unit10:47 AM MDT | July 24, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Uhde Inventa-Fischer says it has been awarded a contract by Alco-Naphtha (Kaliningrad, Russia) to build a world-scale polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant at Kaliningrad. The PET unit, with capacity for 240,000 m.t./year, will be “the biggest single-line polyester plant in Europe,” Uhde Inventa-Fischer says. The contract covers the license, basic and detailed engineering, supply of all equipment, and supervision of construction and commissioning.
