Uhde Awarded Chlor-Alkali Conversion Contract in India

Uhde India says it has been awarded a contract by Jayshree Chemicals (Ganjam, India) to convert a mercury cell chlor-alkali plant at Ganjam. The plant will use Uhde’s membrane cell technology to produce 152 m.t./day of caustic soda. Completion is scheduled within 18 months.
